Jamaican First Lady Style
Apr 8th, 2009 | By Irie Diva | Category: Jamaican CelebritiesU nited States First Lady Michelle Obama went to Europe and raised the fashion bar, and at yesterday’s opening of Parliament some of the who’s who also took things up a notch or two.
Thats the opening statement of an article in today’s Jamaica Gleaner with pics of our leading ladies showing off their stuff. The online pictures are way too small to marvel at but have a looksy none-the-less.
Of course my favourite would have been former Miss World, now member of parliament, Lisa Hanna who looks stunning in a blue pencil skirt suit with 8 button detailing and a new shorter ‘do. She added an extra punch to her look with bright yellow and orange shoes. How very chic.
MP Olivia ‘Babsy’ Grange looks impeccable in what is said to be Escada. Fashionable ladies of the house.

Lisa a di boss!!
a wha dat Babsy a wear??
dem nuh seh a escada suit, mi woulda love to see the bag
None of these ladies come close to the First Lady’s style. The First lady is always in sleeveless modern dresses. Lisa’s new look is too old for her. Her Long hair is better because it softened her face. The style of her jacket is dated. The shoes are ugly. Those should be worn with blue jeans (if you happen to own a pair). Lisa should add more color to her closet. Too many heavy dark colored suits ( what is the temperature in Jamaica)
As for Miss Babsy. She needs serious help…..why is she so covered up…hat and all. OMG
