Morning people exist but not all of us are energized and ready to go first thing in the morning. Are you starting a new job or trying to build a healthy habit and need to wake up earlier? Perhaps you’re finding it harder than you thought, as you drag your feet to get out of bed.

“How do people do it?” you may ask. The truth is that most people have some type of habit or technique to get going when they wake up. Here are some ideas and must-haves to ensure you have an energy boost when you get up in the morning:

1. Drink your water.

No matter what; when you wake up, drink your water. You’ve gone hours without it and drinking water can hydrate you and wake you up. The simple act of finishing a glass of water will help your brain switch from sleepy to awake in a matter of seconds. Even if you went to bed early thanks to your favorite CBDfx products, it can still be a bit challenging to get up in the morning. Drinking water is just what you need. Hydration is key in keeping the sleepy feelings away; remember, your body needs water to keep all your essential processes functioning while awake and while asleep.

2. Make a smoothie with coconut oil.

They say that coconut oil can help to give you a natural energy boost, so if you’re someone who avoids the jitters from coffee or supplements, consider adding a simple spoonful of coco oil to your morning smoothie or drink. As you digest it, you’ll find yourself feeling awake and ready to take on the day. Not only is coconut oil great for waking up but it can also be good for pain and even your skin, so it’s a great addition to your healthy drink anyway.

3. Get an alarm clock that makes a ton of noise.

Okay, we know that this could be very annoying, but it could also be very effective. If you’re the kind of person who loves to hit the snooze button, this could be the perfect product for you. With options available that can play your favorite song to others that have flashing lights, a noisy alarm clock can provide you with that boost that can actually get you through your day.

4. Get some running shoes.

Getting up and going running may be hard at first but it can help you to get an energy boost that will not only wake up your body but do wonders for your mind. Make sure to get shoes that will be comfortable for your style of running and get out there as soon as possible after waking up—you’ll feel better and maybe even look better too.

5.Get an espresso maker.

If you are a coffee lover, you may find that your usual cup of coffee isn’t cutting it. Maybe, you need an espresso maker. Nespresso is a great option as they make some pretty good cups of espresso quickly, where all you have to do is pop in the capsule, press a button, and your espresso is ready to go. An espresso or two to start your morning is bound to get you ready to start your day and will provide at least a few hours of energy.

In Conclusion

To be more energized, the most important thing to do is get enough sleep. If your sleep is going well, consider adding one or more of these things to your morning routine to help provide that little boost of energy you could be missing.
