Outfit Post: Crop top and layered skirt

If you follow me on twitter or instagram then you’ve already seen this outfit but I loved it so much I decided to blog it. I’ve seen a couple of my favourite plus sized bloggers rocking cropped tops with flared skirts lately and I absolutely loved the trend. It gives us bigger girls an opportunity to show a little bit of skin confidently, while still covering up those areas that we’re not so happy about. Personally, I’ve been in love with all the cropped top looks I’ve been seeing all over the place but I hate my armpits (I know, we all have our thing) and so I’ve always steered clear of them. How happy I was to score one long sleeved one and two short sleeved crop tops that fit perfectly and covered up my fatty pits? Woohoooooo! You saw the long sleeved one here and even the other short sleeved one here, so let me introduce you to this lace, rose coloured one.

I lurves it! Do you see the back? It’s so pretty and girly! I’ve had this skirt forever and just didn’t quite like any of the options in my closet to go with it so I think I’ve only worn it once. It’s certainly found it’s match. I bought the skirt a long time ago on Forever21 but skater skirts are now trending so this look could be recreated with a skater skirt or even a peplum skirt and still work for those of us with more midsection than a little. Here are a couple more shots:

Peekaboo! What’d you think? Would you rock this look?
