So far today I’ve had an apple, a cup of mint tea with one spoon of sugar and a plate of shrimp and broccoli. The broccoli was steamed the shrimp was done in butter. Horrible I know. Then I had a bowl of cereal which I just came to find out, since I’m documenting everything I’m eating now, is actually about 2 and a half servings cus it was quite a bowl. So let me see how many calories I’ve gone so far. According to my SparkPeople food log:

This puts it into perspective for you how hard it would be to eat 500 calories per day. The cereal put me way over the edge for today already and I still have not had my second fruit ot meat and veg meal of the day. I would also need to cut down my portions since 2 cups of broccoli and 4 oz of shrimp is to much for just one meal on 500 calories.

Which is why I said I will not be getting to 30lbs lost on this plan. Its a little rigorous. I aim to eat between 800-1000 calories per day, if you watched the video on my last post you would have seen a doctor recommend doing that by upping protein intake to help with hunger. She may be trying to slow down weight loss so you’ll take another cycle but I’ve already ruled that out for myself. When I’m done with the diet I will be reintroducing much more veggies in my diet than I was eating before, which is how I started this journey before I found out about HCG.

So the cereal through me off for today, the only thing I will be adding to the list above is another apple at dinner time. The HCG and my water will hold off any hunger I feel.

My water count for the day so far? 6 cups (48oz) The goal is at least 8 cups even though HCG would much prefer 16.
