This is one of those dresses that make me feel fierce! It’s off-shoulder, again, (sorry, not sorry) and so simple yet so chic that it makes me feel amazing when I step out in it. I am totally feeling my frilly little white dress!
Frilly Little White Dress
It was made locally by Mac’s Couture, a seamstress close to my home in Kingston that makes a variety of very flowy pieces for me. You can view her Instagram here and get in touch.
I feel like a flamenco dancer in this dress, ready to snap my fingers and light up the dancefloor. Nevermind that I’ve never flamenco danced before, barely any kind of Spanish danced for that matter. I chose to keep the bodice of the dress straight instead of curve-hugging in order to remain comfortable in it, especially for date night. To keep it sexy though I requested a high hemline to show off my gams.
Now, I’ve clearly gotta put on a full face of makeup when I’m taking these pictures. Plus learn to smize and pose cause these looks hunty. They are deserving. I’ll get it together, I promise. The sun was out in all its glory adding sheen to my face and squinty-ness to my eyes on this bright and beautiful Jamaican day.
I searched high and low to find something similar to recommend for you all to grab up. This red one is the closest I could find. This more casual chiffon option has straps that I’d just remove if it were me, while this option has bell sleeves instead of tiered but the structure is to die for. Now if you want drama in a sleeve honey, check out this dress by Cushnie Et Ochs, warning, it retails for over $1800! I’ve added these plus a few other cute similar styles to the shop below.
Where would you wear this dress or something similar? Let me know and if you like the look, please share it on pinterest!
